Yogyakarta – The Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences Study Program of UMY held a Journal of Government and Politic – International Conference (JGP-IC) 2018 with the theme Trends in Politics and Government dealing with Sustainable Development Goals on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
Activities carried out in the Amphitheater Room of the Lt. Postgraduate Building 4 This UMY Integrated Campus presents speakers from several countries, such as Rachmawati Husein, MCP, Ph.D (Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, Indonesia), Prof. Madya Dr. Halimah binti Abdul Manaf from (Universiti Utara Malaysia), Dr. PB Anand (University of Bradford, UK), Dr. Andreas Ufen (Giga Hamburg, Germany), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pradtana Yossucuk (Maejo University, Thailand), Prof. Siddharth Chandra (Michigan State University, USA).
Also, Journal of Government and Politic – International Conference (JGP-IC) Journal of Government and Politic – International Conference (JGP-IC) 2018 attended by 46 participants from several countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea who will present the results of the study.

This Journal of Government and Politic – International Conference (JGP-IC) is one of the leading activities of the UMY Government Science Study Program. Besides, the UMY Government Science Study Program, which has been accredited A from 2003 to BAN-PT, is the only study program that has an international class (IGOV) in Indonesia. IP UMY also has a UMY Government Science Master Program (MIP) which is also accredited A from BAN-PT and internationally accredited from APSPA (Asia Pacific Society for Public Affairs).
The hope of holding the 3rd JGP-IC activity is to provide an opportunity for academics, researchers, professors, students, and government practitioners to be able to explain and discuss the problems that are to be solved together. “The hope is that this activity will be beneficial for academics, researchers, professors, students and practitioners of government, in particular, to explain and discuss the problems that have occurred to be solved together” The 3rd Chief Executive of JGP-IC.
