June 7th, 2018, Eko Priyo Purnomo, S.IP., M.Si., M.Res., PhD, a lecturer of International Program of Governmental Affairs and Administration (IGOV) became one of the representatives of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta who went to Taiwan to support NCKU World Islam Campus Summit 2018. The event was organized by Student Development and Activities Division, National Cheng Kung University. It involved the Center of Multiple-cultural Studies, and the College of Liberal Arts, NCKU, as well as Tainan City Government, Taiwan. The summit aimed to build a multicultural-friendly campus and became the first of its kind in Taiwan to promote Islam and diverse environments in contemporary universities. In addition, it would cause staff and students to move by pulling a better tolerance and respect for each other.
