International Students went to Goa Pindul and River Oyot

Sunday, September 3rd 2017. IGOV’s international students from Thammasat University, Kanchana and Thunyanun, went to Goa Tubing and Sungai Tubing Oyot, Gunung Kidul D.I Yogyakarta. Goa Tubing its self is a cave formed by karst with Underground River becomes well known because of Cave Tubing activity on the cave.  Cave Tubing designed that you will float down into the cave. It is a wonderful experience come into the mysterious realm with a cluster of bats and sparkling with the beauty of stalactite and stalagmite formations. The students were enjoying the trips by lay inside a set of tubes and following the drift of the underground river into the Pindul cave. Played in a unique cave with a cluster of bats and sparkling with the beauty of stalactite formations for approximately 350 meters long. After that they went to the Oyo River, the Oyo River is an open river with a karst around it.  In the middle of the river, there is a waterfall named Air Terjun Pengantin (The Bride Waterfall) with a mystical history. For about 2 until 3 hours the students were having fun while swimming and they also tried to challenge their self by jumping from the cliff which is 8 meters above the water.

Thunyanun stated that she lives a joyful life, with a lot of laughter and good times in Indonesia. She also said that “It was amazing! Especially, with friends around. Swimming and sharing some stories are really good. Greatest day ever”. Kanchana also added “We are now here in Jogja, in Indonesia!!! We will do things that people think we couldn’t do”.(LS)
