Yogyakarta, May 3th, 2018, International Program of Government Affairs and Administration (IGOV), Social and Political Science Faculty had a public lecture about Radical Nationalism. The lecture was delivered by Daniel Sium Demoz. Currently, he teaches in Khon Kaen University. His attendance in Indonesia was not only to visit Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta but also to stand as a speaker in International conference which located in Solo.

In term of his lecture, Mr Daniel explained some issues such as history, national ideology, world development and globalization. In the part of the discussion session, it was great. The IGOV students were very excited giving many questions. “I began to be curious about this topic, radical and nationalism. Many pieces of information I get from this public lecture. Then I realize, it has a close relationship with the world history. It means that all countries are related each other” said Yusuf Albiruni, the head of IGOV Student Community. (HSH)
