Yogyakarta – (21/12). Following up on the Softskill Sociopreneurship of the Governmental Studies Laboratory (Lab IP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) which was held on Wednesday (1/12), today there was a presentation of the results of student discussions which had previously been divided into online groups.
In this second activity, students were given time to present sociopreneurship ideas from previous assignments. There were 42 groups of sociopreneurship ideas that have been presented. Students had been divided into groups on Mondays and Tuesdays (21/12).
Bhakti, as the moderator from IP Lab, conducted the event earnestly and yet casually at the same time. In addition, he also said, “Sociopreneurship is a business that generates profit but is still beneficial for those around the business. So we have to distinguish between sociopreneurship and development,” he said.
Ayu Lestari, one of the students who participated in this activity expressed her opinion. “Initially I was still confused about what sociopreneurship is, but when I discussed with the group before presenting and received input from the speakers, Alhamdulillah, I gained more insights about it,” said her.
