Yogyakarta (19/8) – The International Program of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY) just held a gathering and socialization regarding the IGOV English Booster program for parents/guardians of IGOV UMY students. The event was held on Monday, July 18, 2022. The event was held virtually and was attended by Sakir Ridho Wijaya, S.IP., M.IP., as the director of IGOV UMY along with the team and parents/guardians along with IGOV UMY students who participated in the program IGOV English Booster.
At the event, it was opened with a discussion and giving criticism and suggestions on the services provided by IGOV UMY to students and parents/guardians, followed by the socialization of the latest website and student service application, namely, “SIGOV”. The socialization aims to provide information to parents/guardians that IGOV UMY provides convenience and innovative solutions for efficient services.
Furthermore, the event was continued with an application for permission to parents/guardians to send their children to be safe and successful in participating in the IGOV English Booster program where, in the program, IGOV UMY students will be sent for 1 month to focus on developing English skills in improving TOEFL and Public Speaking scores.
From this event, it is hoped that parents/guardians will feel close and can express their aspirations directly to the team from IGOV UMY, which indirectly improves good service for students and parents/guardians. (ARP)
