Yogyakarta (14/10) – The closing ceremony, the visit of students from the University of Bradford, England, the International Program of Government Affairs and Administration, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY), and Jusuf Kalla School of Government UMY (JKSG UMY) held a closing ceremony on Thursday, October 13, 2022, which took place at Roaster and Bear, Yogyakarta. The activity was attended by the managers of IGOV UMY and managers from JKSG UMY.
In these activities, there were several series of activities which is eating together, sharing sessions, and giving souvenirs from IGOV UMY and JKSG for Samra Azam and Jazib Ali as University of Bradford students who visited and filled out activities that had been made by IGOV UMY and JKSG UMY. Many new things could be shared from the two visiting students as well as new things given by the two students, they both added that they were very amazed by Indonesian students, especially IGOV students. “I am very amazed by Indonesian students, especially IGOV UMY students, they have a high curiosity and high desire to learn. In my opinion, this is a good thing and needs to be given two thumbs up,” said Samra Azam.
With this activity, it is hoped that IGOV UMY and JKSG UMY, and the University of Bradford will be able to establish cooperation in terms of student exchange and research activities in the future. (ARP)
