IGOV UMY Students Are Ready to Compete Through Sertifikasi Kompetensi

Yogyakarta (27/7) – On Tuesday (26/7) at Amphitheater E6 Ibrahim Building UMY, the International Program of Government Affairs Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY) and the Government Science Study Program (Prodi IP UMY) held a competency certification training. The procession of this training event began with a speech delivered by Dr. Tunjung Sulaksono, S.IP., M.Sc., Head of the UMY Government Science Study Program. The presentation of the training material was then completed by several resource persons as well as assessors for the public affairs scheme certification, which included Dr. Filosa Gita Sukmono, S.I. Kom, MA., and Dr. Fajar Junaedi, S.Sos, M.Sc., and Aswad Ishak, S.IP. M.Si. This certification training was well-attended by UMY Government Science students, particularly those from the 2019 class or in their final year of the 2022/2023 academic year.

Anisya Yuli Marzalia, an IGOV UMY student who also participated in this certification training, recognized this enthusiasm.
“This public affairs analyst training is very interesting for government science students.” The materials provided can help 2018-2020 students understand and prepare for future challenges after completing their undergraduate education. It is hoped that this training will be useful for students who will later participate in the assessment test stage,” he concluded.

Certification training is the second stage, following administrative selection, through which participants in this competency certification pass as candidates for assistants. This certification process will move on to the assessment stage, which involves testing the assessment based on the material submitted in the certification training. The assessment results will be used to determine who is declared competent and who is not yet competent. (ARP)
