Lab IP UMY Prepared the Students with Sociopreneurship Soft Skills

Yogyakarta – (29/11). The Governmental Studies of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) will hold soft skill training again for the 5th-semester students. The theme of this soft skill training is “Let’s Create Impact for a Better World.” The soft skill training will be held on Wednesday (1/12) via online platforms.
Sociopreneurship is a combination of the words “socio” and “preneur”, which means socially-minded entrepreneur. Sociopreneur is a business owner with the aim of not only making a profit but also considering the benefits of society and the environment.
The key-note speakers of this soft-skills training are:
1. Heru Wijayanto as the Co-Founder & Operations Manager Sociopreneur Indonesia,
2. Puhut Ardianto, S.Pd., M.Pd as theCEO Ecoprint Lemospires & Founder Shero, Community-based Entreprenurship Project,
3. Taufiq Ainun Ulya as the Founder Komunitas Youhtpreneur & Co-Founder Idejualan,
4. M. Agung As’ari, S.T as the Mentor Startup & Business Incubator (SEBI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
The selection of sociopreneurship as one of the soft skills training is because it is in line within the field of governmental studies, society. Students are also taught to know what entrepreneurship is. Entrepreneurship that considers the benefits of society and the environment.
Softskill sociopreneurship is held to provide other insights to students so they are able to gain a wider scope and skills in the professional world. Hopefully, this soft skill training can be beneficial for many. (DA)
