Maejo University Thailand is Calling for Exchange Students

Yogyakarta – (8/11) IGOV UMY partnered with IRO UMY started to run an exchange program again for the students of IGOV. That exchange program will be held virtually at the Maejo University of Thailand. The deadline for the application is on the 28th of November 2021.

The student exchange program is one of the requirements to graduate for the international students of UMY, especially the IGOV students. The program provides students with the opportunity to feel the education system in the other country for a particular period of time. Studying abroad is also the dream of most students, especially international students.
The Maejo University of Thailand is giving an opportunity for the students of IGOV UMY to participate in their exchange program with conversable courses with a total of 12 credits in the home university.
The requirements for these programs are:
1. Statement of Intend or Motivation Letter.
2. Academic transcripts record – minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 scale (written in English with the official Letterhead)
3. English Proficiency Test Certificate (TOEFL minimum score 450) issued by a credible institution.
4. A copy of the passport’s bio page.
5. A copy of student ID (scanned)
6. Passport photograph (visa size, white background)
7. Latest Curriculum Vitae.
In accordance with the discussion of the director of IGOV and IGOV teams UMY, the students who successfully participated in the exchange program will be granted a scholarship.
Salsa, one of the IGOV students who are interested in the program said, “I am very interested in this program because participating in an exchange program is compulsory for the IGOV students, I can gain the benefit of studying abroad which not everyone can have, and last, there is a scholarship grant for this program so it will not burden me financially.” (DA)
