The First International Program for Governmental Studies in Indonesia?

Yogyakarta (13/4) – The International Program of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY) is a higher education platform that examines politics, government, and public administration to manage the potential for the people’s prosperity through the lenses of politics. The program will deliver a deep understanding of two academic domains; domestic politics and public administration inside an international setting. IGOV UMY itself was formed because it has the aim that graduates from IGOV UMY can compete in the international world.
The reason why IGOV UMY can be formed is to prepare students for the world of work in the field of policy analysis, policy management, etc. In addition, IGOV was formed because it wanted to create an internationalized environment formed from existing programs and facilities so that government science students could fill this field of work. IGOV UMY is optimistic that it will provide the best for students who are serious about wanting to be involved in the international area through existing programs such as Student Exchange, International Conference, Short Course, or Visiting Professor so that the goals and reasons for forming IGOV UMY can be realized.
