Yogyakarta (3/6) – The Government Science Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IP Lab UMY) has just held Journalism and Public Speaking soft skills on Tuesday, June 24, 2022, and Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Amphitheater E6 KH Building. Ibrahim Lt. 5 UMY. This event was held in a blended with the theme “Young Work” for Journalism, and “Dare to Be Different” for the Public Speaking event.
Journalism Soft Skill training is very important for students, according to Isnaini Muallidin, S.IP., MPA., Coordinator of the IP UMY Lab, because Journalism and Public Speaking skills for Government Science students will be very useful for students, especially for new students in class 2021 in navigating lecture activities and becoming an important provision when you graduate. As a result, students are expected to participate in soft skills activities to the best of their abilities.
With the soft skill activities that bring in competent speakers as well as trainers, Government Science students find it very helpful. “With the soft skills activities held by the IP Lab UMY, we as Government Science students are greatly helped because, apart from getting knowledge from college, we get other knowledge that will help us compete in the world of work later,” said Moch.
