Yogyakarta (26/10) – In a world that continues to develop, education is very important to improve the quality of Human Resources. Education can make a person broad insight, therefore education will also change the mindset of the person so that they have more perspectives on a problem. This is in line with the program at the International Program of Government Affairs and Administration, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY). In addition to providing quality education by providing various programs, one of which is a student exchange program to increase flight hours related to internationalization, it opens perspectives and mindsets for IGOV UMY students. Meanwhile, some others decided to continue their master’s degree.
Choosing to continue studying for a master’s does require a lot of money. However, now there are many institutions with scholarship programs that can be utilized. Continuing studies to the master’s level is not just because you get a degree, but because you want to explore certain subjects. Therefore, IGOV UMY wants to help its students to get scholarships by creating a program where IGOV students will be given tips & tricks on how to get scholarships from third parties. This scholarship is intended for those who want to do further studies or who want to do Student Exchange.
Therefore, IGOV UMY held the “IGOV Scholarship Hack 101” program. which aims to accommodate IGOV UMY students to know what to prepare, as well as the steps to get a scholarship. This activity will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, through Zoom Meetings. Some of the presenters who will come to fill the IGOV Scholarship Hack 101 activity are Angga Misbahuddin, S.IP., one of the 2017 IGOV students who received the Fully Funded KKU Asean & GMS Scholarship, and Nurina Izazi who received the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarship.
