Visiting Professor : Workload Analysis

Yogyakarta (21/4) – The Visiting Professor of the International Program of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY), Dr. Rozita Abdul Mutalib carried out a class that discussed Workload Analysis. Dr. Rozita explained the importance of workload analysis in the world of work because it is the tool to make projections and plan future works and skills based on activities. Workload Analysis is a management technique that is carried out systematically to obtain information about the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s work based on the volume of work.
 

Furthermore, he explained that workloads in Malaysia are not common, they focus on the impact of workloads, not workload analysis. The most important part of job analysis requires human resource planning (HR) to identify personnel needs, from there also to prove data to plan to provide salaries to employees. There are 2 styles of workload analysis namely, qualitative & quantitative usually quantitative institutions to make it easier for them to analyze. (ARP)
