Increasing IGSC Capacity IGOV UMY Holds Workshop on Capacity Building for IGSC Management

Yogyakarta (12/10) – Yogyakarta (12/10) – The development of the times requires someone to be able to complete work quickly and be able to solve a problem adaptively. This self-adjustment ability is very necessary given the fast-paced and uncertain changes in the environment. To support this capability, it is necessary to increase the capacity of Human Resources (HR) in an organization so that it can develop and can continue to adapt to environmental changes. In general, capacity building can be defined as a process of increasing the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior of human resources.

International Program of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY) has a fairly active student community as a forum for all International Government Student Community (IGSC) students to develop themselves. Of course, this needs to be supported by IGOV UMY to provide workshops to increase the capacity of human resources to improve the skills needed to take part in the mandatory program in the international class program, namely student exchange. In addition, IGSC students must also participate in the development of IGSC in the future so they need to be prepared to be able to manage IGSC properly and correctly. In both activities, students need to have adaptability skills quickly and precisely to produce quality Student Exchange activities as well as manage and organize the organization to be better and professional in the hope of making this organization more developed.
