IGOV UMY Students and Foreign Students Examine Yogyakarta’s Culture and History by Visiting the Sonobudoyo Museum

Yogyakarta (22/7) – To provide actual learning, the 3rd International Government and Politics Summer School (3rd IGoPSS) organized by the International Program of Government Affairs and Administration, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (IGOV UMY) visited the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta. The visit was held on Friday, July 22, 2022, the event took place in a hybrid manner.

With this event, participants can find out about the history, culture, and heritage in Yogyakarta directly by visiting the Sonobudoyo Museum. In addition to being an event to introduce history, culture, and heritage in Yogyakarta, this event aims to relieve boredom from intense learning about the Indonesian government system. Furthermore, learning with this model can avoid feeling bored and bored because you don’t only hear an explanation in one direction, with this learning model, participants can interact in two directions and it is as if they directly experience the history and culture that exists in Yogyakarta.

By holding the visit, it is hoped that the participants can find out more about the history, culture, and what are relics in Yogyakarta. During the event, the participants enjoyed and were amazed by what the Sonobudoyo Museum had to offer. “There are many amazing and rich historical things that we can learn here.
