Vaccinations from UMY is now Different than Before

Yogyakarta – (30/11). Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held another vaccination on Monday (29/11). The system implemented this time is different from the usual one that uses a drive-thru system. Now, vaccinations are located at the UMY Incident Command System (ICS) Office by implementing strict health protocols. The vaccination was supported by Gusti Kanjeng Ratu (GKR) Hemas who provided  330 doses of Moderna 1 and 2 vaccines.
The Commander of ICS UMY, Al Afik, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., explained that since last March, UMY has carried out the mass vaccination agenda 18 times targeting the academic community and the general public. Yesterday was the last mass vaccination agenda. “However, UMY will continue to provide vaccines on a daily basis. This vaccine can be accessed by registering through the UMY ICS hotline at 0811 2920 111 or coming directly to the ICS office. The daily vaccine that we provide is the Sinovac vaccine,” he added.
With the vaccination agenda carried out by UMY, 97% of the academic community has been vaccinated. UMY will continue to update data to its community members who have not been vaccinated. UMY is also facilitating vaccines for the general public, especially those who live around the UMY campus.
“In line with the vision and mission of UMY, this vaccination agenda is our contribution to reducing and suppressing the transmission rate of COVID-19 in Indonesia,” concluded Afik.(DA)
