Yogyakarta, July 27, 2023 – The highly-anticipated 4th International Government and Politics Summer School (IGoPSS) took off with tremendous excitement during the captivating Opening Session, heralding the beginning of an enriching global learning journey. Held online from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the inaugural event witnessed the convergence of aspiring young leaders from various corners of the world.
The momentous occasion commenced with a riveting Company Profile Video, showcasing the exceptional trajectory of IGOV and celebrating the resounding success of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd IGoPSS events. The video highlighted IGOV’s commitment to nurturing future leaders in the realm of international governance.
Amidst a spirit of unity and pride, participants stood in unison to pay homage to their nation with the rendition of the Indonesian National Anthem, followed by the inspiring strains of the Muhammadiyah anthem, “The Sun March,” symbolizing a shared vision of progress and unity.
The distinguished Head of the Department of Public Administration, Dr. Tunjung Sulaksono, S.IP., M.Si., conveyed a heartfelt Foreword, emphasizing the immense potential of IGoPSS in shaping global changemakers. Dr. Sulaksono underscored the significance of public administration in tackling contemporary global challenges, empowering students with the tools to effect positive change.
Dr. Takdir Ali Mukti, M.Sc., the visionary Dean of IGOV, graced the occasion with his inspiring Remarks. Dr. Mukti articulated his vision of IGOV as a hub of academic excellence and international collaboration, fostering a community of future leaders equipped to address complex global issues with innovative solutions.
Masterfully guiding the event was Muhammad Naufal Rofi, S.I.P., whose adept moderation ensured a seamless and engaging experience for all participants.
