Yogyakarta (20/9) – Program Studi Ilmu Pemerintahan (IP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) melaksanakan kegiatan Rapat Kerja Tahunan (RKT), Sabtu (18/9). Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin secara langsung oleh Kepala Program Studi IP UMY, Tunjung Sulaksono. Dilaksankaan secara Luring di Laboratorium Komputer IP UMY, seluruh peserta yang merupakan Dosen dan Pegawai di IP UMY menaati protokol kesehatan yang sangat ketat.
Kegiatan RKT Prodi IP yang diselenggarakan setahun sekali merupakan sebuah wadah untuk kembali merumuskan serta menerjemahkan kebijakan-kebijakan yang merupakan hasil RKT dari tingkat Universitas sampai Fakultas. Kegiatan RKT dimulai dari evaluasi capaian-capaian kegiatan pada tahun sebelumnya dan merumuskan strategi atau kebijakan untuk mencapai misi pada tahun yang akan datang.
Di sisi lain, pada Kegiatan RKT juga dilaksanakan pemaparan Indeks Kinerja Strategis (IKS) kepada para Dosen dan Pegawai agar seluruh kegiatan dan perencanaan ke depan disesuaikan dengan IKS Prodi IP UMY.
“Biasanya yang dibahas adalah capaian-capaian kita. Satu tahun kemarin apa saja yang kita dapatkan, targetnya bagaimana, optimal atau tidak, termasuk strategi untuk mencapai misi kita untuk setahun berikutnya,” ujarnya.
Pada kegiatan RKT tersebut beberapa hal yang masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan salah satunya adalah publikasi artikel ilmiah bagi Dosen IP UMY. Oleh karena itu, direncanakan kedepannya akan dilakukan Pendampingan dan Pembimbingan bagi Dosen IP UMY untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah pada jurnal terakreditasi.
Kemudian, melalui kegiatan RKT tersebut, Prodi IP UMY menargetkan akan mencapai Akreditasi Internasional pada tahun yang akan datang. Hal tersebut berlandaskan atas raihan Prodi IP UMY yang berhasil mendapatkan sertifikasi oleh AUN-QA. Sertifikasi tersebut menjadi tolak ukur bahwasannya secara kualitas, Prodi IP UMY sudah setara dengan Prodi di ASEAN.
“Oleh karena itu, salah satu yang kita sepakati kemudian dalam RKT itu adalah untuk membentuk Tim (Akreditasi). Nah, Tim inilah yang kemudian mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya untuk Akreditasi Internasional,” tutupnya. (ASR)

Yogyakarta – Monday (9/13), International Program of Government Affairs and Administration (IGOV) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, changed its logo officially.

Foltama Juna, PIC of Digital Creative at IGOV said the new journey started by the recreating concept of knowledge development, technology, and prosperity. “IGOV UMY offers services and innovations for the sake of all”, Folta said.

The new IGOV’s logo is a combination between government building that illustrate public sector. Also, an open book that shows the knowledge. It is called as a visualisation of Government Science

Aside of that, the colour used are gold means Elegancy, prosperity, and luxury. Then, navy exemplify intelligence and acquaintance.

IGOV team and its new director joined the Sharing Session for Introductory program/ MATAF at department of Government Science themed “Melahirkan Mahasiswa yang Kolaboratif dan Adaptif Menuju Insan Berkemajuan”, Thursday (9/9). The event held virtually by Zoom meeting and it’s participated by all the new student’s batch 2021.
Sakir Ridho Wijaya as a new director of IGOV led the presentation with the introduction of IGOV. The agenda work well by the energetic discussion, so the participants enjoy the session.
Off course, the agenda runs conducive. Its proof by not a single students who turn their camera off and many questions regarding IGOV, also the program offers by IGOV as well.

Monday (31/5) held the inauguration of Deans and Directors at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. There are 10 Deans and Directors who attended the meeting. Welcomed by Rector of UMY Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budianto, the agenda run smoothly. The agenda also streamed virtually through UMYogya official YouTube channel. The previous Deans and Directors take part in the meeting as well to handover the job and function systematically. However, the former Dean also still need to accompanied and monitoring the current dean to become better Faculty.

The meeting start at 8.30 with Reading of Quran and continue to the speech from the rector of UMY, Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budianto. The next speech delivered by the Chief of Daily Board of UMY, then from Muhammadiyah’s Board of Higher Education, Reasearch and Development. Afterward, the master of ceremony read the Rector’s decree on Dean/ Directors dismissal. He read the decree for every Faculty. Then, continue to the reading of the inauguration session. Not only reading the letter, Rector of UMY also asked the Dean/ Directors candidate readiness to fulfil their job for 4 year. Dr. Takdir Ali Mukti appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Science 2021-2025. He is Homebased at International Relations department. Dr. Titin Purwaningsih, the former dean asked the elective Dean, Dr. Takdir Ali Mukti to be captured after signing the official documents. (AD)
